Why Should I Register for the 9th Annual Seaside Heights Sand Soccer Storm?

This tournament will be the one that your kids talk about all year long!!! Along with the opportunity to end your soccer season on a fun an exciting note AND start your Summer off with a bang, your kids will be able to enjoy Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach Waterpark for FREE the entire weekend. YES, we said FREE!!!

What is Included in our $700 Team Registration Fee?

Your Team Registration Fee includes a minimum of 3 (40 minute) games played on the beautiful beaches of Seaside Heights. It also includes 10 weekend wristbands for use of Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach! (A value of $120/wristband or $1200 in total savings). Please note that split teams will be given a second set of colored wristbands for each team based on the roster information provided during registration.

How do I Register for the Tournament?

Registration Forms are located on our website at www.SandSoccerStorm.com. Registration packs can either be mailed in or emailed to our Tournament Director. Only Full Registration Packs will be accepted.

What Age Groups can Register for the Tournament?

The Tournament is accepting teams from age groups U-7 thru U-19 in both the Boys and Girls Divisions. There will also be a 30 and Over League for both Men and Women. This will be a great way for Parents to be involved in the Tournament as well as receive that same Team Package as their kids.

Is there an Opportunity to Purchase Wristbands for the Entire Family?

YES. Wristbands for Casino Pier/Breakwater Beach can be purchased for a discounted rate of $60 each for siblings/parents of tournament participants. Adults accessing the beach will also have to purchase beach access bands for $10.00 for the weekend.

What do We Need to Register for the Tournament?

Each Team is required to provide a Birth Certificate for each Player and a Medical Release/Waiver Form for each Team along with their registration form. It is suggested that FULL packages be mailed in or emailed to the Tournament Director no later than 2 weeks prior to the Tournament begins. All the required forms can be found at www.SandSoccerStorm.com.

What Happens After We are Accepted?

Upon being accepted into the Sand Soccer Storm Tournament, Coaches will receive an acceptance email.

What is the G.P.S. Address for the Tournament?

Travelers to the Seaside Heights Sand Soccer Storm can plug in the address of Casino Pier, 800 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751. The Tournament is located at the Pier. Where is Seaside Heights Located?

Seaside Heights is located at the Jersey Shore directly East off of the New Jersey Parkway Exit 82. For more information on Seaside Heights please click on the following link http://www.seasideheightsnjonline.com.

Where do we stay?

The Sand Soccer Storm Tournament Directors have worked out various accommodation deals with the local hotels in Seaside Heights. Information can be found by clicking the Accommodations link on the homepage of the Tournament Website, www.SandSoccerStorm.com/accommodations.

Where do we park?

Parking is located all throughout Seaside Heights. There is metered parking as well as various parking lots in the vicinity of Casino Pier. For those using local hotel accommodations, most everything is within walking distance for your convenience.

Do we have access to Seaside Heights Beach during the weekend of the Tournament?

YES. During the Saturday and Sunday of the Tournament, beach access is available for FREE to PARTICIPANTS of the Sand Soccer Storm Tournament. All spectators (over age 12) must pay $10 to access the beach for the weekend. Weekend beach access passes can be purchased through your coach or purchased on Saturday at our tent on the boardwalk. Sunday passes can be purchased at the beach access entrance booth for $10.

Where are the fields located?

The playing fields will be located on both the North and/or South sides of Casino Pier. A detailed map will be included in your registration packets and each field will be clearly numbered upon arrival to the Beach.

Number of Players on Each Team?  

Each team will receive 10 wristbands with paid registration. Additional players on a team will need to purchase a wristband for $60.00 each. All players will need a wristband in order to play. No exceptions. Minimum number of players is 6. Maximum number of players is 18. In many cases it is more cost effective for teams to split into 2 teams to maximize playing time.

Can I Request Certain Times for Games?

Although we would love to accommodate every teams requests, if it is impossible to do so given all the dynamics of the tournament. Each Team will be assured of playing 2 games on Saturday and at least 1 game on Sunday. Sand Soccer Storm does not take scheduling requests.

Should My Team Bring our Team Patches

Sand Soccer Storm would like to encourage ALL teams to bring their Team patches. There may be instances where your opponent will not have a Team patch and it is left up to your discretion whether or not you would like to provide your opponent with a patch.

Can I split my club team into 2 teams?

YES. You may split your team into 2 teams. Often times this is the best way to assure that all of your players are registered for the tournament. Since there is not a guest player rule, it is likely that you can find enough players to fill 2 rosters. Keep in mind that EACH Team that is registered will receive 10 wristbands for Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach Water Park. PLAYERS CANNOT PLAY ON MORE THAN ONE (1) TEAM, ESPECIALLY IN THE SAME AGE GROUP. THIS WILL BE CAUSE FOR FORFEIT OF ALL GAMES WITH NO REFUND. Please note that teams splitting into two teams will be given different colored wristbands for each team based on the information provided during registration. Additionally, split teams may play at the same time so a second coach or assistant will be necessary.

What Equipment Should the Players Wear for the Tournament?

There are absolutely NO shoes allowed while playing in the Sand Soccer Storm Tournament. Players may wear regular socks, purchase sand soccer sox or play barefoot.

Can I Purchase a Sand Soccer Storm Tournament T-Shirt?

Yes. You can purchase a variety of different apparel items at the tournament.

How can I purchase sand soccer sox?

Teams as well as individuals will be able to pre purchase sand soccer sox which will be delivered to each team at registration. The cost of the sand soccer sox is $20 each. Various sizes are available. Click on the Forms tab to place your order. Sand socks will also be available for sale in limited quantities in the main tent on the beach at the tournament.
